What's it about?

Allie is the only character who doesn't know where in the mess she fits. She's just woken up with no memory of who she is or why she's incredibly important, and her only clue is a mysterious list of tally marks, counting all the lives she once saved and deaths she caused.
When she realizes the Escalis are targeting her specifically, it becomes clear that she once played a role in the war greater than any of her friends or family knew. Eager to rejoin the fight, she must first figure out who she is and who can be trusted, and she needs to do it before the Escalis catch her first.
